Ben Kordsmeier, DDS

Dr. Ben Kordsmeier found his path to dentistry while starting as a cardiology nurse. His friend (now wife) had urged him to pursue dentistry after hearing him talk often about the importance of oral care. Since his father is a dentist as well, he had already been familiar with practicing & decided to make the leap.

Dr. Kordsmeier then graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was recognized as a Hinman scholar, received the Dr. Hugh B. Douglas Jr. award from the Department of Prosthodontics & was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Kordsmeier fell in love with the procedural aspect of dentistry, where he is able to directly make an impact on patients’ lives.

Giving back to the community is also important to him & he has volunteered his time at Habitat for Humanity & for Greensboro Urban Ministry. In his free time, Dr. Kordsmeier enjoys retro video games & exploring the outdoors. He & his wife have a young son whom they adore.
